Inside Sales Rep

DRI Commercial at www.dricompanies.com is hiring an additional Inside Sales Associate NOW!  Effective inside sales is a critical part of our success and we’re looking for an individual with prior telemarketing experience who possesses professional polish, superior interpersonal and phone skills, and the personality to influence the customer’s buying decision.
 
Working out of the Company’s Irvine, CA office, the Inside Sales Associate will identify decision makers from prequalified Company listings, trade show leads, etc. and schedule appointments for outside sales representatives. 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and contact “decision makers” by telephone or by written correspondence (utilizing database resources, Company-provided lists of prospect companies and any other appropriate means), and schedule appointments for DRI outside sales team for the purpose of making sales presentations and procuring commercial contracts.
  • Prioritize companies and locations with immediate needs, and where the dollar potential is greatest in order to grow commercial sales revenues as expeditiously as possible.
  • Utilizing Goldmine, maintain and update database of target companies in order to service and/or follow-up effectively and keep records of calls made and/or received, number and dollar value of orders (potential and actual), appointments made and nature of responses in order to track and measure the telemarketing program success.
  • Conduct market research activities in order to determine potential sales of roofing contracts/services via the telemarketing program.

Our ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years inside sales experience and be competent in Microsoft Office Suite.  In addition, the successful individual will have excellent communication skills, be organized and a self-starter.
