DRI Commercial provides roofing, maintenance and waterproofing services for commercial and industrial buildings.  In addition to installing new systems, DRI Commercial provides roof repairs, maintenance programs, and emergency services.   Our customers include many Fortune 500 companies and Federal Government agencies including the Navy, the U.S. Postal Service, and NASA.   DRI Commercial is a wholly-owned subsidiary of DRI Companies (www.dricompanies.com), a respected national construction and energy services firm that specializes in providing premium roofing, waterproofing, solar (photovoltaic), and energy efficient installations for its commercial and government clients.  DRI Companies is led by a senior management team with extensive experience and a longstanding reputation for excellence in the construction industry.

Role:

The Project Manager will join a team of authentic and empowered individuals who drive DRI Commercial’s sales division. We seek a highly motivated and results oriented individual.   The position will report to DRI Commercial’s Regional Vice President and works out of the Company’s Irvine or San Leandro, California office.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate and implement marketing and sales strategies and programs for the  region
  • Conduct and collect market analysis to ensure comprehension of market dynamics and that all sales opportunities are maximized
  • Ensure divisional sales targets meet budgeted revenue and gross margin targets   
  • Engage in prospecting and other lead generating activities, and ensure that all leads are followed-up in a timely basis  
  • Produce estimates and proposals, including the updating and/or extending of contracts, the timely turnaround of proposals and the completion of accurate job costing   
  • Serve as liaison and point of contact with commercial customers during every phase of a project to solidify customer satisfaction   
  • Network with current and newly established customers to build and foster solid business relationships  
  • Maintain sales-related reports on a weekly basis regarding commercial construction activity within the region, keeping management abreast of customer and market activities

Required Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience selling commercial roofing applications to commercial and industrial customers as well as to governmental agencies OR 5+ years estimating for commercial roofing business selling to same
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Self-starter with an ability to work autonomously, while producing sales

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in construction management or related field
